Barkov sustained the injury when he was hit in the hand by a puck during a game against the Chicago Blackhawks on Thursday. He was held out of Saturday's 6-2 win over Dallas. The second overall pick from Finland already had three goals and three assists in seven games while playing between Jaromir Jagr and Jonathan Huberdeau this season.

Bad News: Panthers' Barkov to Miss Time with Broken Hand
Blossoming Florida Panthers' center Aleksander Barkov has a broken hand and will be out indefinitely, according to the Sun-Sentinel.
