Killer Instinct: Anderson Blitzes Ladd with Poke Check in Shootout

Hockey fans if you are looking for a new favorite goalie to watch, may we suggest the stylish, ballsy Craig Anderson of the Ottawa Senators? Check out this bit of daredevil madness during Ottawa's shootout win over the Jets on Thursday night at the Canadian Tire Center.

Here's how Anderson modestly described the play:

"[Ladd] came down on the side angle there and just for a split second he put his down and I was able to jump down and surprise him. I think if a guy has his head up there he probably makes me look foolish for trying to do something that aggressive."

Anderson stopped 38 of 40 shots in the win, and Mika Zibanejad clinched it on the next round of the shootout to improve the Sens' record to 7-4-2.
