Prust Calls Devils' Farnham out for Showboating

Out with injury Vancouver Canucks' winger Brando Prust has been pining away to get into the action of late, but an ankle injury, suffered against Montreal on Oct. 28, has kept him out of the Canucks lineup. On Sunday, Prust found a way to get involved from his Twitter account. After Bobby Farnham fought Prust's 19-year-old teammate, rookie Jake Virtanen, Prust took to Twitter to hit Farnham with 140 characters (or less, I did not count).

Prust wasn't upset with the fact that Farnham fought the kid (Virtanen racked up 249 PIM with the Hitmen in the last three seasons, and is no stranger to dropping the gloves), he was more irked that Farnham, a journeyman who has logged 666 (seriously) penalty minutes in his last three AHL seasons, did some showboating after the tussle.

Was Farnham out of line? The fans at the Rock in New Jersey didn't seem to mind...

The Devils went on to win in OT, 4-3.
