Stars' Jamie Benn is in REALLY GOOD Company

The NHL's current leading scorer notched a nice little milestone on Monday night in Toronto. With his 10th goal of the season Jamie Benn became the first Stars player to score ten goals in his first 12 games since Mike Modano in the 1993=94 season.

Modano finished 50-43-93 that season, which was Dallas' first after moving from Minnesota. The Livonia, Michigan native ended his career 561-813-1374, leaving him 24th on the NHL's all-time goals scored list and 23rd in points.

Benn did more than just score on Monday night, he also executed a pretty gnarly stick lift on Nazem Kadri's groin during a skirmish. Not nice, Jamie:

Benn, a Victoria, BC native, currently has 161 goals in six-plus NHL seasons.
