Boychuk Leaves Game with Shoulder Injury
Islanders defenseman Johnny Boychuk had to leave the ice after this brutal collision with the boards during the Islanders 2-1 win over the Sabres on Thursday in Buffalo. There was only 4:27 remaining in the game and Boychuk did not return, after skating off under his own power while favoring the left shoulder. We'll keep you updated on Boychuk news as it comes. Here's a few more angles of the collison. Update: According to Isles beat writer Arthur Staple, Boychuk is okay, and his coach Jack Capuano told media he is "day to day."
