Shane Doan Breaks Arizona Coyotes Record for Goals

Shane Doan notched his 380th career goal on Thursday night in Glendale to take over the all-time record for goals for the Winnipeg Jets/ Arizona Coyotes franchise.

Doan, playing in his 1,422nd NHL game, passed Hall of Famer Dale Hawerchuk when he notched his 12th of the season from Max Domi and Niklass Grossman at 9:28 of the first period.

The Halkirk, Alberta native is in his 20th NHL season.

Prior to the game, 'Yotes fans showered Doan with hats in the warmups. Doan promptly picked out a winner and wore it as he saluted the fans.

Doan is currently 3rd on the NHL's all-time active games played list (and he's played them all with one franchise). The 39-year-old is also 10th on the NHL's active goals scored list.
