Video: Patrick Kane Extends Points Streak to 24

Patrick Kane extended his consecutive games points streak to 24 on Thursday night with a third period goal at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville. The play was challenged by Nashville coach Peter Laviolette for goaltender interference but the goal stood.

Kane is the fifth NHL player since 1990-91 to have a point streak of at least 24 games, joining Mats Sundin (30 games, Quebec Nordiques, 1992-93); Sidney Crosby (25, Pittsburgh Penguins, 2010-11); Brett Hull (25, St. Louis Blues, 1991-92); and Wayne Gretzky (25, Edmonton Oilers, 1990-91).

Kane has 15 goals and 23 assists during the streak and he currently leads the NHL with 44 points.
