Wings Lose Pulkkinen and Miller after Questionable Hits
The Arizona Coyotes were beaten soundly on the scoreboard at the Joe on Thursday in Detroit, but they came out on top in the body count, as both Teemu Pulkkinen and Drew Miller were knocked out of the game and could miss more time than that. Note: Detroit has gone 6-0-3 in their last nine, but have only won two of those games in regulation. "We are still evaluating both, but they both look like they will be out for a while," Wings coach Jeff Blashill said after Detroit's 5-1 win over the Coyotes. Pulkkinen was leveled by Martin Hanzal into the boards after being tripped on the same play (see video above). Miller was plowed by Klas Dahlbeck later in the first period and had to be helped after the ice after looking dazed and wobbly (see video below). Dahlbeck was not given a penalty on the play, while Hanzal got two for boarding on his hit on Pulkkinen.
