Blues Lose Steen for Four Weeks with Upper Body Injury
The St. Louis Blues have lost center Alexander Steen four four weeks due to an upper-body suffered during the first period of the Blues 6-4 win over the Coyotes in Glendale. He will be re-evaluated at that time. Steen has 17 goals and 30 assists this season, ranking second on the roster behind Vladimir Tarasenko. Blues captain David Backes is expected to switch over to center tonight as the club faces the San Jose Sharks at home. "We're gonna have to share the load and share the responsibility like we have all year," Backes said. "He's a big loss for us but hopefully he'll be well-rested for the playoffs when we get him back."
