Datsyuk Hits 900-Point Mark in Win over Bruins

Pavel Datsyuk blew through the 900-point mark with two goals and an assist during the Wings wild 6-5 win over the Bruins on Sunday. The milestone mark places the Russian in a special group of Red Wings to have reached 900 points. The others are Gordie Howe, Steve Yzerman, Alex Delvecchio, Nicklas Lidstrom and Sergei Fedorov. Each of the other five are in the Hockey Hall of Fame.

"For me it's a big stepping stone, but it [doesn't] happen without lots of good players I am playing with," said Datsyuk , who now has 902 points. "Lots of helping and supporting, and lots of teaching me, too. Lots of giving me advice. I appreciate all of them."
