Tortorella Pissed about Blue Jackets OT Gaffe



The Columbus Blue Jackets have been a vastly improved team in their last 10 games. They've gone 6-1-3, allowing just 22 goals in those games, which is nearly a goal better per game than their season's average.

But Blue Jackets head coach John Tortorella, always the perfectionist, is pissed about that one that got away. That one would be Loui Eriksson's OT winner, which gave Boston the 2-1 win at Nationwide Arena thanks to some loose coverage by the Blue Jacket's defense.

"The thing that pisses me off is that we just give them a free one," said Tortorella. "It's frustrating. It's a simple three-on-three, man on man, and we just screw it up."

He added: "That is a simple three-man entering our zone and all you have to do is find your man. You can explain it ten different ways--it's a blown coverage."
