Watch: Armia Dangles Around Oduya for Spectacular Goal

The Winnipeg Jets lost their captain Andrew Ladd in a trade with the Blackhawks on Thursday, but the team rallied to notch a solid victory in Dallas to ease their pain.

"I think we channeled [the Ladd trade] in the right direction, used it as motivation," Jets forward Chris Thorburn said. "To have him not there for the meeting and then for the game, it was weird. It was really weird, but the guys did a great job being professionals and getting the job done."

One of the players that did an exceptional job was Joel Armia. He scored a softy buzzer-beater at the end of the first period that put the Jets up 2-0, but this vintage dangle in the third really took the cake.

It was Armia's first multi-goal game of his career, and it left Dallas with a bad taste in their mouth.

"It's embarrassing," Spezza said. "We've got to cut down our goals-against, we've got to help our goalies out, we've got to play better hockey."
