Watch: Nakladal takes Dangerous High-Stick to Face from Kuhnhackl
During the second period of today's Penguins-Flames tilt at Consol Energy Center, Pittsburgh forward Tom Kuhnhackl committed a dangerous high-stick foul against Flames defenseman Jakub Nakladal. Kuhnhackl got the stick up twice on the Flames defender. First he brushed him with the shaft of his stick as the two initally made contact in the Flames' end. A moment later Kuhnhackl dangerously catches Nakladal with the blade of his stick near the eye as he is pivoting. After staying down on the ice for about a minute, Nakladal headed to the dressing room with a towel over his face under his own power. Kuhnhackl was given a four-minute double minor on the play. Calgary scored moments after Pittsburgh had killed off the double to take a 3-2 lead.
