Watch: Kucherov Buries First Playoff Goal of '16

The post-season party is officially underway. First goal goes to Tampa's Nikita Kucherov, who rifled this one-timer past Jimmy Howard to give the Tampa Bay Lightning a 1-0 lead in period one over the Red Wings.

It was an absolute beauty one-timer from the off-wing that most players wouldn't have even attempted.

Kucherov, who hit the 30-goal mark for the first time this season, was an absolute beat in the post-season last year, turning in 10 goals and 12 assists in 26 games.

With Steven Stamkos and Anton Stralman out for the post-season, the Bolts will likely need that type of performance from Kucherov again to go deep.

He's off on the right foot...
