Marian Hossa Becomes Fourth Active Player to Reach 500 Goal Mark

Marian Hossa scored his 500th goal on Tuesday night at the United summer. Hossa takes a deflected feed from Artemi Anisimov and deposits a backhand through the five-hole of Michal Neuvirth as the crowd erupts in celebration.

Hossa becomes the 44th player in NHL history to score 500 goals.

It was a pretty cool scene in Chicago as the Flyers kind of retreated to their bench to let Hossa have his moment. The Slovakian has been one of the best two-way centers in the NHL for a long time. Hossa is a five-time all star and a three-time Stanley Cup winner that began his NHL career 19 years ago.
