Watch: Huberdeau Injured in Scary Skate-on-Leg Collision

Rough moment for Florida Panthers forward Jonathan Huberdeau, who had Sergey Kalinin’s skate land on the back of his ankle after the two battled along the boards during Saturday night's game at West Point. Kalinin's right leg lands on the back of Huberdeau's left leg and the 23-year-old hobbles off the ice, exhibiting pretty extreme duress.

He left the game and wold not return. The Panthers defeated New Jersey, 4-2.

Huberdeau's injury could be the second significant issue the Panthers have suffered this preseason. Nick Bjugstad went down with a broken hand and is expected to miss more than a month.
