Watch: Montreal's Daniel Carr Dangles, Dekes and Scores

Your NHL preseason goal of the night goes to Daniel Carr of Les Habitants. Carr, 24, broke a 3-3 tie at 15:10 of the third to give the Canadiens a lead they would not relinquish. Carr maneuvered neatly around Zdeno Chara and Adam McQuaid before beating Tuukka Rask. Both Chara and McQuaid ended up on the ice as the crowd at Centre Videotron in Quebec burst into celebration.

Carr signed a two-year deal with Montreal this summer. He went 6-3-9 in 23 games for the club last season.

He is one of the forwards on the bubble at the moment in Montreal. The Canadiens have trimmed their roster down to 27 but will be sending two more forwards down to the minors before breaking camp. Does this goal help his cause? Surely it can't hurt.
