Ovechkin Scores Another OT Winner

The Washington Capitals blew a three-goal lead and were in danger of falling in overtime at home. Enter Ovi.

The Great 8 scored on a one-timer from his camping spot, giving the Caps a 4-3 win and moving Ovechkin within one of the all-time record for regular-season overtime goals.

The goal gives Ovechkin a total of 109 multi-goal games. He also scored in the second period to give Washington a 3-0 lead. But the resilient Jets scored three times in a nine-minute span in the third to draw even.

The Caps improve to 7-2-1 with the win.
