Jets' Perreault Had Finger Broken by Corey Perry Slash

Matthieu Perreault hopes to return this week for the Winnipeg Jets. He was slashed by Anaheim's Corey Perry during Winnipeg's 3-2 loss to the Ducks at MTS Centre and has not played since.

Perreault, who has 4 goals and 12 assists on the season, hopes to return on Thursday when the Jets visit Dallas.

He was not overly pleased with what he perceived to be a dirty play by his former teammate.

"It was a little dirty, I would say," Perreault said of the hit. "It's not like he was trying to make a play on the puck really, he was coming at my hands. To me it was dirty."

Perreault has put up five points in his last five games for the Jets.
