Blues Down Leafs, but Lose Stastny to Injury

UPDATE: According to a Friday morning report in the St.Louis Post Dispatch, Stastny's injury is not considered serious

The Blues pulled out a 2-1 overtime victory over Toronto at Air Canada Centre thanks to Vladimir Tarasenko's game-winning snipe, and are now 4-1 since Mike Yeo took over as head coach, but the news wasn't all good for St. Louis tonight in Toronto.

Paul Stastsny left the game with a lower-body injury after this strange skate-clipping injury with Nazem Kadri.

The accidental contact pulled Stastny's right leg out from under him (see video above) and he was hurt enough to have to leave the game.

Blues coach Mike Yeo did not have an update for media on the severity of the injury after the game.

If he's out for any length of time it would be a tough blow for the Blues, who just lost Robby Fabbri for the season a few days go. Stastny is the Blues second-leading goal scorer with 15, and he's fourth on the team with 35 points.
