The NHL has released its top 15 selling jerseys for the first three months of the season, and to celebrate this information, we've decided to help shoppers by recommending five jerseys that you should be buying.

First, the top 15, per NHL:

Now, our tip five:

1. Nikolaj Ehlers

Why Ehlers? Well, watch one of his shifts and you wouldn't ask that question.

2. Patrik Laine

Why Laine?
I don't know, maybe because he scores all the time? 3. Peter Budaj

Why Budaj

Because he is the ultimate unsung hero. He represents the possibilities, endless ones at that, of life between the pipes. At 34 he is having the best season of his career (after playing one game in the NHL in the past two seasons) filling in more than admirably for injured Jonathan Quick.

4. Brady Skjei

Why Skjei? Lundqvist? Nash? McDonagh? Ranger fans, think outside the box and look towards the future a bit. Get the spirit of 76 jersey worn by 22-year-old defenseman Brady Skjei.

5. Artemi Panarin

Why Panarin? The Russian is not only the most exciting guy to watch in a Blackhawks uniform, there's an added bonus: Get "Bread Man" on the back of the jersey and be a hero.

Bonus ideas: How about Nikita Kucherov, the most important and most dynamic player on the Tampa Bay Lightning? Or Nicklas Backstrom, the unsung hero of the Washington Capitals, year in and year out? He hasn't signed long-term yet, but Alexander Radulov's jersey has looked sweet in Montreal all season long. Auston Matthews is great, but don't you really want a Mitch Marner jersey so you can show your friends that you root for the little guy? And lastly, y'all Sharks fans might want to pick up your Brent Burns jerseys before he wins the Norris, so you can say you loved him way back when...
