Clarke MacArthur Leaves Game 2 after Hit from McDonagh

Clarke MacArthur took an open-ice hit from Ryan McDonagh during Game 2 of the Senators series against the Rangers at Canadian Tire Center and he has left the game. He was not down on the ice for any extended time and continued to play after the hit, taking three shifts before after the hit before he left the ice.

MacArthur returned to action on April 4 after spending two seasons mostly out of the lineup (out since October 14 of 2015) due to post-concussion symptons. He has been an emotional leader for the Senators down the stretch and scored the series-clinching overtime winner in Game 6 against the Bruins in the first round.

The team has not updated on MacArthur's status yet.

UPDATE: The injury is apparently not related to MacArthur's past concussion history, which is good news.
