Joe Thornton Still a Game-Time Decision for Game 3

Joe Thornton's status for Game 3 of the Sharks-Oilers series on Sunday night at HP Pavilion remains unclear after Sunday's morning skate in San Jose. The 37-year-old took a short morning skate before the rest of his team took the ice for an optional practice, then later spoke with reporters, not giving very much indication either way.

“If we’re up two nothing or down two nothing, I’ve still got to know my own body and go from there,” Thornton said. “I wanted to play in game one, I wanted to play in game 81. As a player, you want to play every game. So I’m going to keep telling everybody around me that I want to play.”

Here's a clip of Thornton's skate -- hard to determine if he's ready or not from this.
