Matt Murray Injured in Warmups, Fleury Gets the Start for Pengs

The Pittsburgh Penguins will be without the goalie that guided them to the Stanley Cup last season, as Matt Murray was injured in warmups and has been replaced by Marc-Andre Fleury in Pittsburgh tonight as the Penguins and Blue Jackets play Game 1 of their first-round series.

Murray went 15-6 for the Pens in last season's playoffs, and he went 32-10-4 for the Penguins this season.

Fleury went 18-10-7 this season with a 3.02 GAA. That GAA was Fleury's highest since the 2005-2006 season. He had a .909 Save Percentage.

The Penguins must be pretty happy that they didn't elect to trade Fleury at the deadline this spring. He has 53 career playoff wins to his name and guided the Penguins to the Stanley Cup in 2009.

Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet reports that Murray has not even dressed for the game.
