Penguins Clinch Second in Metropolitan Division



The Pittsburgh Penguins blasted the New Jersey Devils 7-4 on Thursday night at the Prudential Center to ensure home ice in their first-round matchup with the Columbus Blue Jackets.

Sidney Crosby had two assists, including the no-look beauty shown above, and the Penguins improved to 50-19-11 with their fourth win in a row. Crosby is second in the Art Ross Trophy race, seven points behind Connor McDavid with 43 goals and 88 points.

The Penguins split four meeting with Columbus this season with both teams earning a regulation win and an overtime win. The Penguins defeated the Blue Jackets in six games in their only previous playoff series in 2014.
